Tazewell County Health Department is now offering residential sharps disposal. See drop off locations below!

Items that ARE accepted: 

• Needles
• Syringes
• Auto-Injectors (i.e., EpiPen)
• Lancets

Items that are NOT accepted:

• Unused or expired medications - Click here for medication disposal locations    
• Trash
• Non-medical sharps (i.e., nails, box cutters, x-acto knives, etc.)
